The Marchesi family has done an exceptional job in infusing juices and whole pepperoncino, into their award winning extra virgin olive oil, from the Umbrian countryside. This is one of my mother Sheila's favorites, she sautés shallots in pan, allows them to cool down to room temperature, whisks in this extra virgin oil along with our favorite every day Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, noted in our Balsamic Vinegar collection. She then asks my dad Sal aka "King of the Grill" to create magic with his choice of steaks. When they come off the grill my mom spreads this amazing creation, along with freshly chopped basil. Some of our favorites are sprinkling a "bit" over my brother Matthew's awesome hand tossed pizzas, substituted in any dish where you want heat, think Clams Linguine with this Pepperoncino extra virgin and a dosing of fresh lemon juice and parsley delish! Anywhere you want a "Zinger effect", this extra virgin is a 10 on 10 for the heat index!
